Cenk Esen

Cenk is an Istanbul-born, London-based pianist and composer. Born to a family of musicians, he grew up listening to post-bop classics alongside mid-noughties pop, shaping a musical sensibility as diverse as the soundscapes of his hometown. After graduating from the Berklee College of Music, where he was a student at the prestigious Global Jazz Institute, Cenk moved to London, quickly establishing himself as a mover and shaker in the scene. The last few years have seen him tour and collaborate with artists like Mansur Brown, Chaos in the CBD, Romarna Campbell, Şam, MckNasty and Tom Driessler; perform in venues like Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Cadogan Hall, Southbank Centre and Royal Albert Hall; and events like Montreux Jazz Festival, New York Winter Jazz Festival, London Jazz Festival and We Out Here Festival.

His sophomore album, “Endlessly”, featuring Mcknasty, Tom Driessler, Leyla & Aydın Esen, was recorded at London’s hallowed AIR Studios and was released in May 2025. This is in addition to Cenk’s first full-length album “It’s a Family Thing” (2021) , which had its live debut at the Istanbul Jazz Festival in 2021. 2022 saw Cenk collaborate with US-based drummer Jasper Williamson on “Peace Achievement” (2022), adding to two self-released EP’s.

This allows you to easily improvise and play in parts like a professional keys player! It even comes with customization options including Chord Tones, Dynamic Scale, and Relative Scale.

Add character to your chords with internal strumming, rhythmic sequencing, and velocity patterns. Create arpeggiated or rhythmic melodies with the Pattern Generator. All customizable and all launchable with live controls and MIDI Mapping.

Drag your existing MIDI files containing chords into the ChordPrism interface to turn them into instantly playable presets.

Tip: Call your pianist friends and have them send you a bunch of chord progressions to import!

WHAT THE EXPERTS ARE SAYING

"Whether you’re an experienced keysmith or a total beginner, it really does pave the way towards composing better, more structurally sound music.

The app provides a musical safety net by making it harder to get things wrong, so you find yourself punching way above your compositional weight."

Computer Music Magazine

"I need versatility to personalize my music.  The Chord Editor lets me experiment with near infinite tonal combinations to get the exact sound I am looking for.".

Johny Atar / Klaypex

"It is a tool in the same mould as pitch-correction software or automatic drumming plug-ins: it enables non-keyboard players – and even non musicians – to create musical performances that are technically and harmonically correct, and it does it in a very straightforward and accessible fashion."

Sound On Sound Magazine

"ChordPrism helps me create complex tunes in between shows. Being able to play a whole band's worth of instruments with 2 hands is incredible."

DJ Afterthought

"Such a powerful tool for coming up with ideas and even playing or performing ideas that you wouldn’t normally come up with."

Attack Magazine

"El mejor plugin para hacer acordes y melodias. Con muchos presets de Reggaeton. Muy duro."

DJ Nelson

"This is fantastic for constraining your notes and your chords to whatever scale you choose. There’s a whole lot of tricks you can do with this, and it always make sure that what you’re playing is in key. A lot of fun."

Erik Hawkins (Music Production Lecturer at Berklee College of Music)

"It will indeed help you play complex chords and generate melodies with fairly minimal musical knowledge...and it can certainly help you generate new musical ideas."
