Setting Up With Your DAW
You'll find all ChordPrism specs and setup tutorial videos for each DAW below, with the first two videos being walkthroughs of all features. ChordPrism works with most DAWs, adapting to each of them in a specific way.
ChordPrism can even host other VST Instruments internally. You can add and access VST Instruments in ChordPrism’s library through the parameters in the upper right-hand corner.
We're currently working on updating all tutorials so please excuse the current lack of spoken word in the videos 🙏

ChordPrism 2 Full Walkthrough
The Full Walkthrough of all ChordPrism features except the new MIDI Drag-and-Drop, which is demonstrated in the below video 👇
Version 2.1: MIDI Drag & Drop
Watch how the new Drag & Drop feature works and check out the new Velocity Matrix and Preset Library!
Logic Pro X
In Logic Pro, ChordPrism works as a MIDI Effect plugin. All you need to do is create a Software Instrument track, load up your instrument, and add Chord Prism into the MIDI Effect chain.
Ableton Live
Add Chord Prism to an instrument track and then route MIDI from that track to a separate instrument track. You can then either record your MIDI selections into the Chord Prism track, or you can record the actual MIDI being played into the destination instrument track.
FL Studio - 3rd Party Plugins
It's easy route the MIDI from ChordPrism to third party synths and instruments in FL Studio. All you have to do is load up ChordPrism on its own Channel and set the MIDI output. You then load your synth on another Channel and set the same MIDI input at the same value.
FL Studio - Stock Instruments
Using ChordPrism with stock plugins in FL Studio takes a bit more setup compared to using it with 3rd Party plugins. As the video demonstrates, you need to use the Patcher tool and insert the stock instrument inside the Patcher.
Studio One
In Studio One all you need to do to is load up ChordPrism and your instrument on two separate instrument tracks and then select ChordPrism as the MIDI input in your instrument or plugin.
Cubase
In Cubase all you need to do to is load up ChordPrism and your MIDI instrument on two separate Instrument Tracks and then select ChordPrism as the MIDI input under 'All MIDI Inputs' in the track of your instrument or plugin.
Maschine Software
In Maschine, you need to add an instance of ChordPrism to an instrument track and then add another instrument within ChordPrism. ChordPrism is able to host VST Instruments internally and this is the only way to use it in Maschine (for now). You can add and access VST Instruments in ChordPrism’s library through the parameters in the upper right-hand corner.
Reaper
In Reaper you need to load up ChordPrism and your MIDI Instrument on separate Tracks and then use the Routing Matrix to add ChordPrism as a Receivern in your MIDI Instrument's track.
Reason
In Reason, you need to add an instance of ChordPrism to an Instrument Track and then add another instrument within ChordPrism. ChordPrism is able to host VST Instruments internally and this is the only way to use it in Reason (for now). You can add and access VST Instruments in ChordPrism’s library through the parameters in the upper right-hand corner.
Mixcraft
In Mixcraft, you need to add an instance of ChordPrism to an Instrument Track and then add another instrument within ChordPrism. ChordPrism is able to host VST Instruments internally and this is the only way to use it in Mixcraft (for now). You can add and access VST Instruments in ChordPrism’s library through the parameters in the upper right-hand corner.
Bitwig
In Bitwig, after you create a track for ChordPrism and your MIDI Instrument, all you need to do is route ChordPrism's MIDI Output to your MIDI Instrument instead of 'Master.'
