Chord Generator
Launch full MIDI chords by hitting one key. Choose from over 300 presets, endless chord types, and limitless customization for voice leading and inversions. Apply Strum, Repeat, Hold, and Velocity effects.
Smart Scale
Our one-of-a-kind Smart Scale feature adapts your MIDI keyboard to contain notes that work with the active chord. This allows you to easily improvise and play in parts like a professional keys player! It even comes with customization options including Chord Tones, Dynamic Scale, and Relative Scale.
Step Sequencers
Program and apply different rhythmic patterns to the content you create with the Chord Generator and Smart Scale. ChordPrism comes with a wide range of genre-based sequencer presets that are further enhanced with Swing, Gate, and Velocity Pattern options.
Pattern Generator
ChordPrism assigns arpeggiators and melody generators to each black key in the right octave. This allows you to mix and match patterns while your active chord is playing, leading to constantly evolving melodies. You can edit the melody or arpeggiator setting on each black key to come up with endless patterns and ideas.
Chord Editor
Adjust the notes of each defined chord on a step by step basis with our unique Chord Editor. Create any inversion, voicing, extended or altered chord imaginable. A powerful tool for anyone who wants to add just a bit more spice to the internal chord presets
MIDI Drag & Drop
Drag your existing MIDI files containing chords into the ChordPrism interface to turn them into instantly playable presets.
Tip: Call your pianist friends and have them send you a bunch of chords you can import!
Instance Sync
When using multiple instances of ChordPrism within a project, each instance will share Key, Scale and Chord information. This allows you to first lay down your chords with one instance, and then use the other instance to play basslines, melodies, or arpeggios with another MIDI instrument. Thanks to the Smart Scale feature, each note you play with the new instrument will work with all of the chords!
Multi-Instrument Performance
Play a chord progression, melody and bassline simultaneously with different instruments inside of your DAW... like you have four hands! ChordPrism's Mute buttons allow you to isolate specific roles for each instance. For example muting the Chord Generator in the second instance and only using it for melodies or basslines.
Export MIDI

Shifter Keys
